Founder, Taekwondo Master & Certified Fitness Instructor
Master Joe Tabakhman has been committed to training in Martial Arts for over 25 years. He has earned his 4th degree black belt in the Korean art of Taekwondo and he is a certified trainer in Russian Kettlebells. He is actively training in mixed martial arts which include: Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kick boxing, Russian kettlebells, and Ginastica Natural (cardio flow Yoga). He has competed in full contact fighting tournaments (BAMA). Teaching his students has been his true passion and he has been effectively teaching for over 12 years.
Master Tabakhman other commitment is his growing family. He and his wife Lindsey have been married for 5 years. In 2013 they welcomed their new addition baby boy Alexander on May 29th. Through his experience, Master Tabakhman is eager to share his passion of Martial Arts and fitness with all of his students at Sidekick.
Taekwondo Grandmaster & Certified Fitness Instructor
Grandmaster Jay Lally is a 43-year martial arts veteran with an 8th degree black belt in the Korean art of Taekwondo and has been actively practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for over 15 years. He is a level III certified trainer in Ginastica Natural® as well as certified trainer in Russian Kettlebells. He has presented and instructed numerous government agencies such as the FBI, DEA, and several sheriff departments as well as the united states postal service.
Grandmaster Lally owned and operated Lally’s Tae Kwon Do in Fairlawn, New Jersey for over 15 years, which had over 300 active students. Grandmaster Lally is looking forward to sharing knowledge, passion and experience with all of Sidekick Martial Arts & Fitness students.
Certified Fitness Instructor
Instructor Lorinda Sullivan is a 1st degree black belt in the Korean art of Taekwondo and a level III certified trainer in Ginastica Natural®. She teaches kettlebell and stability balls classes as well as classes for mature active adults.
In addition to her martial arts and fitness knowledge, she is also a Level II certified Fascial Stretch Therapist with the Stretch to Win® Institute.
Martial Arts Instructor
Instructor Sara Mammone is a 2nd degree Taekwondo black belt and has been training for 11 years. She has competed in regional and national championships. Miss Mammone is a graduate of Felician College where she studied Elementary / Special Education and co-majored in Fine Arts. She is currently a teacher.
